The Challenge
Commercial work splits two ways. On a new build the problem is size — a pad large enough that it has to hold flat across the whole span, poured around a steel frame that's already standing. On a business that's still open, the problem is the opposite: a tight lane, a live customer route, and a hard limit on how long it can stay shut.
The Approach

Gravel base brought up and compacted across the full footprint before anything else.

Reinforced
Rebar mat tied out over the whole area and held up off the base so it sits in the slab, not under it.

Set to Grade
Screed lines run across the pad so the finished surface stays flat over a long span.

Pumped
Placed off the pump and worked as it came, section by section.

Worked
Brought to finish while it was ready. On an area this size that's a clock, not a preference.

Kept Open
On a site that's still trading, the lane gets fenced, poured and handed back in the shortest window the concrete allows.
The Result
Flat across the whole span — and back in service.
